Polish elections: EPP hails great victory of Bronislaw Komorowski in Presidential elections
The President of the European People's Party (EPP), Wilfried Martens, warmly congratulated this evening Komorowski for his election as President of Poland in the the second round of elections. Komorowski, the candidate of the Civic Platform (a member-party of the EPP) beat PiS leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski with an estimated 53% of the votes.
